Pig run attendees

You can (hopefully) add Shayne Edmunds and Tyler Branham to the list. Shayne was at the first pig run in his (at that time) white 77 pig. It's now a beautifully doen blue and white he's planning to attend but not wheel. Ty's truck is an olive drab 79 that he bought from me (can you believe it???) several years ago. It's now got a doubler and is SOA, but hasn't been tested yet. He's hoping to have it all tied together to make the pig run.

Camping? Doesn't matter to me. I may camp I may go home Friday night don't know yet. One advantage of driving a pig is that you can indeed sleep comfortably in it. I slept on an air mattress in the oinker at the CMCC it was quite comfy especially given the tempoeratures (great) up there this year. I am figuring to be up there Thursady night to see who is gonna wheel Friday probably at Paragon with the 4Runners. Any interest?

Drove the pig to work today had to get some big boxes and my truck is in need of attention. The old girl runs great with the 35 inch tires it's almost like overdirve. Yeah I know Koerner 35's ain't big tires...........

Hope to see a lot of pigs for the photos session Saturday morning!!!!!!!

Picture of your 55

Tom H- that picture of your pig had to be taken in Trenton, right with all those trailers in the background?

Yup, at Todds shop on Sunday. Proof that it runs again! (as long as I keep gas in it - found out the guage isnt all that reliable!)
-
I will probably be camping at Rausch. Plan is to head out Friday and wheel Saturday.

Tom's grille!!!

Tom your pig has the straightest grille I've ever sen on a 55...............gig that crazy front bumper!!!! I had bought a 76 55 from a guy in Jersey, in Montclair I believe. Truck had a Chevy V8 (healthy!!!) and ran pretty good. Story is the PO ran it back and forth from jersey to Colorado, had a lot of CO stickers on it........but the real kicker was the roof rack- an ass kicking full size heavy SOB of a roof rack with a GD ladder screwed to the passenger side of the oig for access!!!! Had a two level platform in cak with a mattress..........guy apparently slep in the pig a lot. You pig owners from Jersey are an interesting lot!!!!!!! Shmukster

Yeah, I thought I'd give a friendly bump as well. I am SO looking forward to this... :D. It's gonna be FUN, looking forward to seeing ya'll

So I am planning to bring two new tanks and my grill for anyone wanting to cook out at the pig run. NO PORK PLEASE:flipoff2: I will grab some turkey burgers and Boca burgers to offer, but that is just me:D

if anyone else wants to plan food stuff, post up. It would be cool to have a potluck on Saturday night.... you are of course, allowed adult beverages after trailriding is complete for the day:beer:

So, is anyone planning to wheel at Rausch on Friday like last year? or is Paragon the plan for everyone on Friday?

I am planning to meet Gary S. at PAP Friday with a buddy in his 4runner to wheel at 8:30 am. Anyone is welcome to join us but let me know to expect you so we know who is coming :flipoff2:

The camping at Rausch is limited to 1st come, 1st serve basis. We can and are planning to camp at the camp spot "100 yards up the mountain" from the main camp area. I plan to go straight from PAP to Rausch early Friday afternoon.

I found out that Camp 3 fits around 10 rigs. We can camp there and likely we can fit whomever wants to camp there as long as we get there in time. Arrangments are made to ensure the best chance to secure this camp area:grinpimp:

EVERYONE MUST SIGN IN AT RAUSCH CREEK UPON ARRIVAL!!! no matter the time of day/night or if someone is around... you can sign in at the cabin near the front with self explanatory directions.

Just a quick change

I am simplifying my life and am planning to stay at Rausch Creek to wheel on the Friday before the pig run.

I want to test out my 38's and also hit a couple trails that I have been wanting to run but missed the last couple times I was there.

Let me know if I need to expect anyone else to join me. I will already have at least one rig with me and likely 1-2 more for the day...

Just spoke with Camp-a-While, they are requesting a $20 deposit be sent in to reserve your campsite.

This is new this year as they are very busy. So, if you are planning to camp in the less than primitive style, call them soon.

Jeff,
I was thinking about coming up Thursday night to Rausch. Are you camping Thursday night, or just showing up Friday morning?

Jason the green j**p guy should be coming as well.

Anyone else interested in camping at Rausch on Thursday night?

Dan is camping Thursday night.. I will do my best to get there but it may be really late. I will let Rausch Creek know some will be camping Thursday night. We must remember to sign in no matter what time day/night!!!

We should also claim the camp area easily if we get there Thursday night...

I was hoping to get there Friday pm to camp Friday and wheel Saturday.
Likely hitting Rausch for camping - can sleep in the truck as Gary said!

My plan is to arrive Thursday evening and camp at RC. I may wheel at Paragon on Friday with the EC4RJ or just stay at RC.
