A friend of mine is selling his 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser on marketplace.

I don’t know anything about the truck other than what is listed here but by the look of it, it’s a clean truck.

Thanks, messaged asking if there were any issues and she read but didn't respond.

I test drove it and there are no issues. They have had a ton of interest so it might’ve sold
She got back to me. Still available. Thinking we would fly into Atlanta and drive back to Austin. Do you think even with the high miles it’s a good buy and will hold up for a while?

I can’t speak to this 62 specifically because I don’t know anything about it. But, as someone who has purchased a couple of 60 series and driven them home long distance, I’d advise you to really do your homework. Most vehicles of this vintage are driven local in the latter stages of their life. You are about to ask this one to drive a long distance at highway speeds. Lots can go wrong. I’d inquire about how this one has been used. If it’s a second vehicle and not driven regularly or long distances, get everything checked out completely…….radiator, water pump, transmission fluid/temp, tires (age, balance, alignment), a/c system, and much more. I’ve had my fair share of adventures that have turned into EXTRA adventures. Best of luck if you decide to take this on!

Thanks for the insight! Ended up getting in contact with them and they seem pretty great. Had the truck for 19 years now. They are actually going to come to Austin at the end of next week so we will sign the paperwork then but setting up transport tomorrow for it to be picked up and shipped here. I think that is the safer bet and nice to keep 1k miles off it as well.
