Hard to give away my money!! Holy moley buying a new LC is like trying to get a porsche gt3RS!
Im waiting on a silver here in dallas as dealer is waiting for an allocation. Very difficult and hard to know what dealer has what as they share inventory on each others websites. Very frustrating.

Guess I need to be patient but man this is not an easy rig to buy new.

Ps your LC looks fantastic!

U guys are getting me worked up on the 2016. Time to reward myself with the latest and greatest.

Just a couple thoughts...

From what I understand, the only significant mechanical change in the 2016 is more gears in the transmission.

Other than that...the changes are almost entirely cosmetic.

I don't mean to poo-poo here...but just add some perspective. Is it really worth the extra cash?
-If you plan to build up the cruiser...keep in mind that for the premium you are paying, you could buy an essentially brand new, perfect 2014...and take the cash you save and build it into a DREAM Cruiser.

Like Markuson has suggested this can be a really great time to pickup a previous model year LC. I just bought my '15 a few months ago (thereby receiving a sizable discount...)

So that is another option, particularly if you plan to modify!

Same here, got a 2015 in august at a sizable discount, did not see the point of spending a lot more for the 8 speed and the two screen in the back that I will never use and that I personally hate.

The only thing that mattered to me was the 8 speed as you said. I'm constantly moving stuff in my car (including adults) and will never have any use for the TV's. Seems like an odd addition to a car this late in its run. I would have opted for no overhead TV in my '15 if that were possible

Put another way...

You could buy this...

Or for the same $...grab a perfect 2014...and do this...

I know which I would choose... :)

8 speeds (which do not seem to have much impact surprisingly) and putting controls on the console, where I can see them instead of by the hood release, are appealing. I am not tempted to change mine but I do understand the "why" of some of the changes. Which fits the Land Cruiser evolution perfectly.
