Just pulled the fuel pump from my spare 94 tank and it's an Arram. I can't find much info on this brand. The tank is very clean inside and so is the sock, which is in great condition. The pump does not look new but doesn't have barnacles growing on it either and was working fine the day I rolled the 94. So, I'm wondering if Toyota used these pumps or if this is an inexpensive replacement.

Two years ago I ordered a Denso pump from cruiserparts.net to carry as a spare. It came in a generic plastic bag. I shrugged it off and put it in my trail spares kit.

Now I'm considering installing this tank in my 93 because it's tank was mashed on a big rock 13 months ago. Figured I would install my new pump. Today I learned my spare is an Arram. Then I pull the pump from my parts truck tank and it's also an Arram. What gives?

I have my '95 tank empty while I'm replacing the strap mounting bolts (long story, starting with the LSBPV replacement in Feb). I opened it last week (to empty it) and forgot to look at the brand of the pump. I'll look at mine this evening and report back.

The '94's in Tuscaloosa for the semester, so I can't help you there.

Very possible? Have seen them as OE on some Japanese cars, good pumps.
Some guys on a Mazda forum mentioned them when I googled it. If you say they are good, then I will go with what I have.

What came out of my 94 it was original

Ok thanks everyone. I just find it strange that, when I google it, nothing much comes up.

Hold up....where are my dam glasses...
