BA had a great perspective on all the dirty laundry. He said both teams were getting picked on equally. As long as the calls are consistent, players and coaches can adapt.

Loved seeing Colin Kaepernick get popped with the inappropriate language penalty. I always thought he was a cocky prick.

Abraham is returning. they released Butler the punter and Marcus Bernard the LB and then signed linebacker Victor Butler who played for both the Cowboys and Saints whom they seemingly feel will bring more than Bernard. Poor Bernard must feel like a yo-yo but never says a negative word about it. Classy guy.

Zastudil the punter is obviously going to return to punt duty. Mathieu should get more time this game coming up with the 49ers

Hopefully Carson Palmer will have his pinched nerve come around before Sunday.
GO CARDS - beat the evil Niners!

Backup running back Johnathan Dwyer being questioned for possible domestic abuse.
If it is true, what a bonehead

Just walk away, esp with the recent lessons...

This situation is really going to get out of hand fast for the NFL. Dwyer's events occurred in July, it was his wife and 18 mo child. They moved away, kept evidence, and have taken this opportunity to now press charges. Now you see a former girlfriend of Brandon Marshall coming forward to litigate in a abuse/violence incident from '07 and there will be more. If the NFL doesn't get their arms around this quickly, you are going to see former girlfriends, baby mommas, ex-wifes, etc., coming forward (not that they shouldn't when abuse happens) to get their day in court due to the timing and visibility this topic is receiving. Wading through those that are ligitimate cases that should rightly be pursued, and those that are seeking leverage for child support, alimony, money grabs, etc. is going to be a nightmare.

Ultimately, it's good that this topic is in the fore front because we all have Moms, Sisters, Daughters and would never want them to experience violence or abuse.

Never hit a woman, child, or animal and never promote this violence. End story.

Newest report for Dwyer doesn't look good, "head butt" and "punched" his wife, possible broken nose, then threated to kill himself. Once validated, the Cards need to cut this clown, and the sooner the better so we can move on.

All this doesn't bode well for a return by D. Wash after his drug suspension is up. He plead guilty to assault on his baby momma earlier this year, which likely means he'll get a 6 month suspension next year from the league. That may mean he's played his last down for the Cardinals. Stupid kids don't know the opportunities they are pissing away by being knuckleheads and harming women.

Great posts Norm.

Dwyer is on inactive list, probably cut soon.

Cards resign RB Jalen Parmele who was with the team in the preseason and is a larger body size like Dwyer. Then the Cards cut RB Chris Rainey off the practice squad and replaced him with Kerwynn Williams the former Colts RB but hardly any pro experience. There must be something Arians likes there.

The roster churning continues!

Then the Cards cut RB Chris Rainey off the practice squad ....!

I just read that the reason they let Rainey go was that the Cards found out he had a history of domestic violence and cut ties.

Not so sure about D Wash. He pleaded out before the new policy, so may not be subject. Even if the results are the same, there's a big difference between a push (especially from a huge man) and a head butt or punch. The later are malicious acts, a push, maybe, maybe not. He's suspended for MJ, which IMO is BS. If that is lifted, it'll be interesting.

Abraham was out, then back, now out again. Guy has memory loss going back into last year. Definitely time to hang up the cleats. Saw a very interesting interview last week on Ben Utecht - former TE in the league and it was scary how he just can't remember chunks of his life. Even high tech helmets and good tackling techniques can't save everyone from the physics of this sport - mass X acceleration then rapid deceleration = lots of tweety birds.

John has played the game well, and landed a paycheck for the rest of the year. If it is due to head injury, he deserves it.

Palmer out, Stanton in on Sunday....

Love to see him silence all those poo pooers and niners fans who show up en masse.

Agree, if his symptoms are as bad as he says, he's unlikely to have a second career and will likely be in and out of the puzzle farm. The NFL is filthy rich, he deserves every penny he can get, he'll need it.

I confess, had to go wrench on a driveline off and on to relieve stress...

This game took the sting out of Cleveland's loss of 2 points with 32 seconds left.....:censor:

Stanton, after the game looked like he was humbled, great job, he deserves any praise given.

3-0 :D and beat a division rival!

Backup qb and third string reciever Brown all over Sportcenter highlights. Nothing but up from here. I'm glad next week is the bye to help up our dinged up players and get ready to meet the Broncos in 2 weeks. Too bad they fell to the Seahawks in OT

Thought the halftime defensive adjustments from Bowles was impressive. Went to holding the niners scoreless in the second half and they only converted 1 third down out of 7 tries.

Great team win!

Wow, Brown is fast! And Fitz came up big late in the game with some important catches. Glad his fumble did not impact the outcome, and the D held down the fort.
