Are 70-Series semi float and full float parking brake cables interchangeable?

I get that the cables between, x70s, 73s, 75s, etc are different in length due to wheelbase, but I'm trying to determine if full float and semi float cables for the same vehicle are interchangeable? My digging indicates they have different part numbers but think I read somewhere that the semi float cable part number is a substitute for a full float cable? I've searched the archives and can't find the reference again.

FWIW, I need to adapt a cable from a FF BJ73 axle to my FJ40.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, the parking cables are compatible. I swapped my Semi-Floating axle to a Full-Floating axle and retained the parking cable that was on the truck (for the Semi-Floating axle).
