I think they could take some abuse, the tubing wall is not as thick as my WKOR or Slee were but I definitely think they offer some protection although they are not a true slider. I like the raw diamond plate and yes Kurt did have his powder coated.

Chris, Kurt,

Are these rated as rock sliders? It looks like on arb's website they are listed soley as "steps".??

Chris they look awesome, I really love this design. I have wanted these for some time now especially with the wife/kiddo VS. my Slee rock rails, I just want to make sure they can take the abuse if I get into the nasty..

My other hang up is the silver, I like it however not sure if I want silver on my Galactic Grey cruiser..

Kurt, if your readig this, did you end up powdercoating your steps black to match??

They are primarily a step but will absolutely serve as a slider for mild needs. Make no mistake these are not rock-sliders and for a rig that is going to see rocks, I surely wouldn't recommend them. For mixed use and light rock needs, they have been functioning great for many of my customers including my own. I did have my tread plates powder-coated to match the wheels and the rear bumper. There is absolutely no reason you couldn't paint the actual steps and side rails themselves to any color of your choice but in the US market they all come the satin black. LMK if I can help with anything else.

Can these be used alone, without the brush bars/bumper?

. . . and does anyone have any pics of the steps installed without the brush bars / bumper?
