Aside from the obvious weight difference is there any other advantages to an alloy roof rack over a steel one? Im looking at getting the arb for my rig and was curious what everyones opinion was on this.

Jhonny beat me to it. If you plan on having it for years then alloy would be a good choice. If you know how to weld and you plan on customizing it then maybe steel as you can weld add ons...
