I have a fridge slide for my ARB 50QT and wanted to see what others have been doing for the release handle? It's very small and does not provide much leverage or comfort to release the slide to slide out.

I haven't found an "add-on" piece or anything to attach to the handle made by ARB. I was thinking some piece of hard rubber that fits over the current lever would make opening the slide easier.

Any ideas?

Is it relatively new? Mine eased up after more use...might just have to play more:)

It's used, not sure for how long as I purchased it from Jacque at TRDParts4U which came from his personal truck.

There is a rubber bushing piece that keeps the lever in the "up" position. Are you saying this piece will compress a bit more easing up on the effort needed to push the lever in the "down" position to release the slide?

My lever was bent back a bit and the rubber was touching metal. I was able to bend it forward and it now operates smoothly.
