Good idea bad idea?
Looked like a perfect place to put the connector.

concerns are blocking air flow and the hose getting too hot near the cooling fins.

what say ye?

Will you be able to remove the fuse block lid?

I don’t see any reason that wouldn’t work, but if you want a nice, fun and really easy solution, just run an air line to the back and put it in the tailgate. My favorite mod by far.

I am not. I actually have both a ARB Single and an ARB Twin in the engine bay (long story) and I combined them for a homemade "ARB Triple" that serves serves this quick connect in tailgate.

Where in the heck did you find room for the second unit?

The single was transferred from my old Range Rover and mounted where the 2nd battery would normally go. I got tired of how slow it was airing up and bought a Twin mounted on the Slee bracket. I didn't feel like removing the Single so I put in some check valves and T'd the lines together for a Triple. Using this setup with the InDeflate makes for a very fast and satisfying "airing up" experience.
