I did have a post ... maybe it disappeared... anyway I will try and rehash everything.
I wont be able to attend the meeting. I spent amost all day in the VA hospital and had just been released when I made the first post to the thread. I have pneumonia. I didnt think it was very serious until my wife made me go see the doctor. I thought it was just a chest cold. I spent a better part of the day, all afternoon and early evening being treated. I was given orders not to travel on my own. My wife has to work and James in out of town on training. So Im stuck here in Cheyenne. I was allowed to go home but have to go back tomorrow for more therapy to help open my lungs up. I am no longer allowed to be around second hand cigarette smoke. My lungs were damaged during my service in the military and I cant breath very well around smoking.
Anyway I wanted to bring to the table this:
1) I happened to run into the State Dirrector for BLM. I was able to talk this over with James. The dirrector is gone for the following week and a half. After that we can make an appointment with him. I wanted to be there too while James talked with him.
2) I have met with a Korean War Vet. This fellow drove several of the new Land Cruisers that were sent to Korea. He has a number of color photo's as well as experience working on them and has already shared with me a few stories about them. When he finds all the photo's we are going to sit down and have a proper interview.
3) I have designed some fliers to place on Toyota 4x4 owners windows. I intend to use them up here in Wyoming to gather more members. I will send the file to Ige.
well Im going to try and get some more rest... my lungs feel like Im being stabbed with a rock bar.
