I'm thinking of painting some misc parts with Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy Paint - Gloss Black. Steering column, seat brackets.
Any comments/experience to share?
How does this compare to something like Eastwook Chassis Black Extreme? I want it to look nice and have good durability. Powder coat is another, more expensive, option.
Thanks,
Dave

I used the Rustoleum epoxy in "Biscuit" to paint my fiberglass top for my '40 a year and a half ago. It is still shiny and has held up well, even in the kaliforny sun.

I used this and did NOT like it at all. I switched to the rustoleum automotive paint. You can get this in a bigger 20% bonus can from walmart usually for the best price. This paint had a much better glass smooth finish.

I sanded and prepped well. I dusted a lighter coat, and then 2.3 wet coats with overlap. My steering column and roll bar came out great with no orange peel or DOTs.
