Jason have you wheeled or trout fished Mill Creek between hwy 48 and hwy 100, see link below I used to go there and trout fish and take my 40 though there all the time and it was a blast. I always started on the 48 end it was the best fishing, but the middle was the best wheeling back I needed my 8274 in some places so be careful if you go!! lol

thanks

Hey Lee, I didn't know the area was there, I'm not a big fisherman and although I've lived in hohenwald for 8 or 9 years I just haven't taken the time to get out and explore much, this sound like it might be fun to check out tho. Your welcome to come down and show me around lol.

Are you coming to the pig roast? I lived in Kingston Springs and Nashville for 30yrs and know a few places to wheel, but that was back in the early 70's and 80's. Matter of fact my 40 was recovered off a gas line in Cheatham Co that a guy was killed in. They sure are some good deer hunting in your area, I'm to old and fat for all that now though.lol

There used to be a cool little spot just outside Pegram on 70 next to the Harpeth, but I think TDEC got involved on that one and shut it down. I've seen some power line trails out that way as well.

Be curious to see where you used to wheel and decide how much of it has either become a subdivision or has been blocked off.

Yes out off of Sams Creek Rd heading to Ashland City. The gas line went all the way to the Harpeth river and that is where the guy was killed. It took use 8 hours to just winch it to where it could be towed out. This went through the Cheatham Co hunting reserve at that time, have no ideal now. But I will tell you this, DO NOT ATTEMPT with out being locked front and rear good, tires, brakes and clutch. I took my 54 M38a1 in there that was in pristine condition back then and almost did not make it out but that was a HEEP.lol

Cool, been wanting to check out some of the trails in the management area. Sounds like a heck of a trail. I am sure it is still in the WMA. Will have to do a little checking around to see what is rideable over there.

I would like to come up and go back over there and do some riding sometime and go back where my cruiser was It was the steepest ridge that I have ever been up and down.lol

It just got real-

What ya'll think of my new style-

Got the invite on Facebook, wish I could make. I'm sure it'll be one hell of a good time. Let's all get together for another ride soon!

You gotta love it when your 4 yr old sits up in bed at 11pm and pukes everywhere. :( Gonna be one of those nights......
