Does anyone have an interest in drum brakes from a '72 FJ40?

all 4 available with one new wheel cylinder

I could bring them to the club wrenching day

I need to upgrade the brakes on the 80.

Will these do the trick?

I could use them, but I'm not going to be in you're neiborhood anytime soon.

I can bring them back to Tucson and you can pick them up from me.

That works for me......Does it work for you Claudia?
What do you need to get for them? John

how much is a new wheel cylinder? if I find it

Specter has an aftermarket cyl for $40. But I not sure you're '72 will fit my '69.
This is the way they list them:
02A fits '63-'70
02B fits '70-'71
02C fits '71-'80
I thought they were all the same......The drums are ('63-'75).

I didn't know they could be different. I presume my wheel cylinder fits my brakes, it came with the truck, I never looked at them closely. I'll do that before the club meet and let you know

Thanks, if it's in the original box with a part # I can make some phone calls and see if it will work.

nope, not in a box but clearly new; I couldn't tell you off-hand whether it was a rear or front cylinder, though, will inspect again.
