I went and checked it out tonight. I was thinking about buying it and swapping gears and bumper and whatever else to my 60. But I already have too many irons in the fire and thought I'd pass it on too you guys. I checked it over pretty good and will answer any questions and help anyone with the purchase.

The guy seemed like a good guy. He took it on trade (he has a dealers license and goes to auctions) from a friend and bought him a newer cruiser. His friend bought it on eBay and drove it from Maine to Tennessee, had the tranny rebuilt there then on to Kansas. The tranny was gone through again under warranty, now the rear seal is leaking into the transfer case. It shifts good and runs good. Needs some things here and there, but nothing major; just some TLC....

There is a 3 ring binder with all the new stuff that was done to it in 03'. So who here spent all the money on it 5 years ago? 4:88 gears, ARB winch bumper, new seat foam, new carpet, new BFG AT's.....

Hmmmm. Looks a lot like my old one. I bought it in Massachusetts and sold it ($3400:mad:) to a very pretty (I'm a sucker) gal from Duluth when I was working in Minnesota. Had the same arrangement for a CB radio in the dash, and a very similar front bumper, although it's hard to tell from the picture. I had new front fenders and some rear quarter rust repair work done by Tedd at Cruisersolutions in New Hampshire before I took it to Minnesota. Not sure exactly when I sold it, since my records are back home in Massachusetts, and no, I did not install the leather, but that may have been done after I sold it. But, I thought she was going to give it to her son in Colorado? Who knows? Mine was a nice truck, and good runner. :cheers:Ned.
