Any updates?

I emailed winner racing from the ebay store after getting 2 Crappy TYC 2282 radiators from amazon. The first one was actually a KOYO radiator and it looked like a decent radiator made in Indonesia. However it was damaged in shipping in the whole thing was crooked. The replacement radiator was a TYC Chinese radiator that is 48 mm thick compared to the koyo 54 mm. It also had a centimeter or two gap where there weren't any radiator fins on the core at the top and bottom where the koyo and OEM fins went all the way up and down the core with no gaps.

Sorry for the lack of updates but here is the progress so far.

I hate to say it but any American fab radiators made all aluminum to replace the factory Land Cruiser/LX is looking to be around $800 more or less.

I've located a Chinese factory (Winner Racing) that builds 100 series aluminum radiators for m/t but they can add the internal transmission line for our auto trans. My research online shows that they have been building only radiators/intercoolers etc for over a decade and their ratings online are pretty good...

If I can get at least 5 initial interested parties we are looking at about $320 shipped.

This has a larger 56mm core with 2 rows. TIG welded. No epoxy usage. Approx 26 lbs.

revive old thread. what was your experience with this radiator??

Replaced my plastic header tank on my radiator about six months ago as it was suffering from discoloration and crazy cracking of the plastic. Most issues give you a signal before catastrophy happens. Another post gave me a heads up on what to keep an eye out for. The OEM radiator has lasted me 450,000 kms so probably my money's worth. A competent radiator shop can do this job very cheaply just check that the core is still good and you can get a few more years out of the OEM. if my OEM core was no good I would have been in the market for an upgrade to a better specified tried and proven aliminium radiator.

I am trying to research the eBay winner racing radiators, but it seems aftermarket radiators just aren't worth the hassle.
