Is there anyone in central Texas that has experience in changing over from drum to disk brakes?? I have an axle from a 76 to put in my 74. I was going to just change the whole axle but the 76 axle has had the spring over done to it and I want to keep my spring under. So I was wondering if anyone in the neighborhood may have experience that could help me od do it for me. I would pay of course....

Just swap everything from the knuckle out and the birfields/axle shafts over to your 74 housing. It is not htat big of a deal, you get to change the knuckle bearings at the same time and you won't have to fool with changing the pinion flange.
