Anyone have a clean rust free body and frame for a 79 4x4 shortbed?

Hello,
As I posted in the chit chat section, I got a 1979 Toyota 4x4 Shortbed plow truck. The truck is all orig, with 37,000 miles. However the body and frame are shot. Any ideas as to where to get a good frame and body?

Ha, you are gonna ditch the whole body/frame, huh? I went through the same stage you are now in with my 84' with totally rusted frame and body. I think you will pay dearly for a rust free body and frame for that year. I think most of the beds on those trucks were actually made in the US out low grade sheet metal to avoid some tariff or something, anyways the point is they are rare in rust free condition. Besides even if you do find a set up worth switching into you still have to get all that rusty s%$t off the the driveline/engine to get it in the "new" truck. Why not just weld the frame up like you planned and put a wood box on the thing and just drive it around if you can. I know you think the 37000 miles makes the truck worth something, but I think you would have more fun just driving and tinkering on it while you look for a clean mini truck that may need some parts but not a whole driveline/engine.
