My '95 has 154K, excellent shape. It is a odd combination of a cloth interior with manual seats that the first owner had put nice (as good as OEM) aftermarket oak leather in. Which for me is great, I am 6' 1" and have pleanty of leg room with the seat all the way back... the power seats were the only thing that bothered me about the LC when I was looking at them. Felt like a NASCAR driver with the wheel in my chest.
I have done all the work on it my self - 2.5" OME lift, cooling flush, new belts, fan clutch, trans flush, power steering flush, brakes, georges LEDs, starter contacts, window servicing to get them to go up faster, etc... basically everything this great forum has talked about.
Powder coated the wheels black... I love black wheels for some reason. I spent 20+ years in Detroit and all the prototypes that do testing on the roads have black wheels.
My next project is birf repacking and wheel bearings. Probably this summer some time. Then exhaust, head gasket, injector service and supercharger install at the same time. Just have to save - the budget appropriation committee (my wife) wouldn't understand spending all of that on a 10 year old truck all at once.
These trucks are amazing. Every part is engineered to last. People are amazed at the interior materials after 154K and 10 years.
My only regret is not taking the time to find one with lockers when I was looking 2 years ago. And I really wanted a 40th with lockers, but they were a little out of my price range and a little too nice for a 3rd vehicle... I didn't want to worry about scratching the cargo area or the dogs drooling on the leather.
This forum has been a great source of info... so much in fact I put a older desktop out in my garage with a wireless connection to make the work easier. My wife just shakes her head.
