I'm putting an 8274 on the 45 so I don't need the mounting plate that came withy the truck. It's made for use with Saginaw steering but should work with manual or mini truck steering. The mounting plate mounts the winch, fairlead, and relay box.

I just made one.

Procrastination would have paid off in this case Chris.

i might take it. Will it fit different models or only m8000?

I was told it was made to fit an M8000 but it will likely fit others in the "M" series and should also fit XDs by cutting off the relay box mount.

I might be interested in it...I need to see if the ARB bumper that I have on the ********* will hold my m8000, if it doesn't, I'll need that plate. I'll try and look today at it...

*********** = a yet to be disclosed vehicle that I recently took possession of.

I'm out....what I have is gonna work just fine....I'm going to be needing the winch a lot I think.

Oh sure, tease us about a new toy and then clam up. And then ease in winch usage...

Just for that...

Doo doo doodle looo... Doo doo doodle looo...

So you went and got the free Disco? I knew you couldn't resist. If I had a trailer I would have picked it up too. So who got your troopy?

Resent a PM

I just resent you a PM, the one from earlier this week must have vaporized. :D

Jon - it's all yours. PM sent

yeah...I couldn't resist a free '98 disco with front and rear ARB lockers, front arb bar, aftermarket rear bumper (still to be installed), sliders (still to be installed)

oh...and the bad starter...the electrical rover gremlins have just begun. Enoch over in Charlottesville told me that '98 was one of the better years for the disco. I guess that is kinda like if you are gonna shoot yourself, there are good places and bad places...but it still ends up hurting.

The price says it all.
