I've been feeling pretty strongly about selling my 2014 Tacoma and going with a 100 series or LX 470. My wife already has a Sienna and we rarely use my DCLB Tacoma to haul our two young kids in their car seats around. It's not convenient and it's definitely not comfortable. We also have a third on the way, so the Tacoma will never get used when that happens. We go to the mountains quite a bit so I still want to stick with a 4wd, so the 100 series or 470 seems like a great option.

This 470 is at a dealer about 4 hours from me, it's a one owner with 91k miles. The price on their site is $20,995 but it's listed on Craigslist for $16,995. Would love to hear your thoughts. I've already looked at the Newbie Guide on sleeoffroad, but if you guys have any other thoughts or feedback it'd be appreciated.

Do it! I have a 470, no regrets. I haul 4 kids + dog on many adventures. Plan on the timing belt service or negotiate to have it included now.

Looks pretty clean! A stock truck like this is definitely the way to go. I've got an '04 LX and absolutely love it. One big thing to consider is whether or not the AHC suspension has been deleted and replaced or is still stock. While the AHC is great it is stupid expensive to get fixed and you will definitely have to fix it at some point as it ages. I purchased mine with the AHC deleted and replaced with the stock LC suspension and it rides great!

Good to know, thanks!

I called earlier today and someone had left a deposit. Called again just now and it’s been sold. Guy is picking it up right now. Appreciate the insight!
