Any recommendations on local Fairfax area shops?

Definitely worth the drive out to lovely Warrenton.

But to answer your question.... I wouldn't trust an axle service to any shop in Fairfax.

Go with Ryan! You will regret any one else. Exept Vince and Nathon At Forge Specialties in Fredericksburg.

Seems we have a few 80s in the club that need an axle service soon. Anyone with a good parts washer want to host?

Thanks for the help guys! The pig has needed it since the beginning of winter, gotta get this done so I can play this spring/summer :)

I have a parts washer, though I certainly wouldn't call it a good one. It works though.

I would be happy to host, though the big problem with my place is space. I live in a townhouse with a driveway and we would really be limited to doing one truck at a time.

I don't know what the appetite for traveling to Waldorf is (I'm 20 minutes South of the 495 Branch Ave exit), but I have plenty of space to work on several vehicles at the same time, 2 in the garage and 2 under cover with others parked around the garage. I have a 60 gal compressor, parts washer, work benches etc to handle most jobs.
