Note lowenbrau's 60 is on airbags I believe. Hot s*** man.

I believe that Tapage's bumper is an old school Warn model. Not positive, but pretty sure.

That's not Bruce's '60. It's Peter's.

Yup that was stolen from Peter's ACT 2002 pictures.

I think he normally keeps the airbags adjusted to keep the fender off of the tire. It is obviously a low speed rig, so ensuring this shouldn't be a problem. Plus... These tires have a sidewall that is over an inch thick. The tread section is far thicker. True braided steel belts (no nylon in these) Load rating "M". I think that the inner fenderwell meets the outer fender opening flush. There is a corner there but no lip.

If he did damage a tire... he can run it to the trailhead woith zero pressure. these deforms very nidely at low pressures, but the weight of a Cruiser is not enough to actually press them flat. (I'm using these same tires on a rig I'm building.. I actually had Peter's shiped to him when I found and bought the tires for my project.)

Thanks for your comments Mark

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I've seen CR-spec 60's with vents.... gotta keep a closer eye out when I'm out and about! Granted, there are quite a few rigs here from the USA, but I think I've seen them with other CR details (decals and such) with vents.

Vent thingies are a US-spec only, no other market got them, diesel or petrol.

Does anyone else think 37's are too big for a DD or strong road-type rig? I feel like my 35's are large enough and wagons are so big already. Just my $.02 I suppose. I know that I am happy (and get over) almost everything I could probably get over in 37's I think...

For a road dominated rig 35's are good

For a Daily Driver anything larger or more aggressive than a set of 35x12.50 BFG MTs (or knockoff of same) is, at the very least, tough to justify. No point in burning up a set of Swampers or boggers on pavement.

Man, how come I didnt check in this thread earlier  I love 60s with a tire 36" to 38" tall. Now I am dreaming, LOL. I already have 4.56s and a SM465 to split case adapter... Hmmmm.

Actually I dont think I would do it to mine just because of the increased load heigth.

But still, neat stuff.

Honestly I have a little trouble justifying even my 35s. If there was a good slightly narrower go-to 34" I would be all over it I think. I'm sure 37's wheel damn well but again most of us really are just pavement pounders in reality I think.... I'm curious to hear from you guys who actually are running 37s on the street, do they ever feel too big?

Not mine...but same color and wheels tho....

nice rig dude .. very very nice ..

Aren't 8.25r16's about 34" tall? You can get Michelin military tires in that size.

Or a 255/85r16, I think that also works out to about 34".

Of course, then you have to run 16" wheels

And Swamper LTBs come in a 34X10.50 in both a R15 and R16 dont they?

Heres a pic of mine with 37's ,
The car is a bit higher in the rear but i dont have a fuel tank in it yet so it should come down a bit .

just a quick question how high are you roof lines roughly ?
mine is about 2150 mm which is about 84".
