I have had two sets of 315/85?16s

- I felt every knob on the tread in the steering wheel and they rumble at low speeds.
- They roar at road speed.
- Once they wear for 20k miles, they are loose on wet pavement unless they are siped.
- They are hard as hell to balance after a while.
- They suck in snow.
- They are great for rock climbing but the only time I have ever been stuck in an 80 was with Yokohamas. Not blaming them, but they sure didn't help.

No comparison to the BFG MTs. Just my .02c.

I had the geolander MT+'s and so far the Toyos have beat them in every way! Less road noise smoother and hopefully last longer! Been great off road too no swamper but great road/trail tire!! The yokos were great new but wore fast!

ok thanks for the info ...looks like im not getting the yoko's ......ill keep looking around but the STT's seems to be the best for me .......thanks guys
