I'm still interested and still chipping away at my towrig project. Got the Cummins swung in for a test fit today... I am optimistic at this point it will be ready to go for an early November trip. My brother will loan me his pickup if this one is not ready.

I don't but the shop I bought the motor from might. What are you looking for and what's your budget? FWIW I do have the complete 7.3 IDI I just pulled out of the truck. It was getting pretty tired though at 427K miles. Still, it was a good motor. Just time for a better motor.

This is the main reason I wheel an 80 now. 4 kids and wife all fit now.

oh i understand... I love my wagon, but i sure miss the last 40 i had too... I guess that is why so many with this addiction have multiple cruisers... I hope to be one of those guys when i grow up ....
