I decided to upgrade from my 91 Corolla, the car that introduced me to Toyotas.

I figured I would see if anyone around here is interested first, before listing the car for sale.

The car has been in the family since new. It's a 91 DX, auto with a 4AFE.
Manual windows, locks, mirrors. I installed a remote start this winter too.

I have every record for maintenance and repairs. Mainly a few sets of tires, trans flushes, and some exhaust.

I have been driving/maintaining the car since 2007 at 46,000 miles. The car now has just under 80,000

I replaced the radiator (caught the leak while it was a slow drip), plugs, wires, cap, rotor, thermostat, L/F axle (slung grease), clock, and stereo.

The car runs and drives excellent, everything works including cruise and A/C. The tires have less than 20,000 on them. I have ran full synthetic since 46,000.
Steering and suspension is all tight. I shake it down and check things over with each oil change.

The car could benefit from some front brakes (Pads are ok, but rotors are rusty and have a slight pulsation)
Timing belt has not been done and should be based on age (looks okay, but that doesn't say much)
Battery is old, but starts every day even through winter.

With the synthetic oil, and a fram air hog filter, I can get 33-35 mpg doing all highway, and 28-30 doing some mixed driving.

If anyone is interested, PM me or give me a call. I would like to get $1500.

The rust on the passenger door is the worst that the car seems to have. Happened in the last few winters :frown:

This is at the current mileage with 4,000 miles into a 5,000 mile oil change.

At $4 a gallon that seems like a real fair deal for someone, good luck Jeremy.

Yes its auto. I would have to look through the receipts, but I think it has been flushed two or three times only for maintenance.

If you were here in TX I'd jump on that! :(

Come here with 1.5 stacks, and we don't even have to call.

Sold. To a wheelin person.

We got her something a little nicer and more modern to drive.

No mini van as of yet. But I like the idea of being able to just go pass out on the floor in one.

4 cup holders that I know of.

Although a 92 tercel would actually be more modern, I wasn't able to find one.

The new ride is 2005 Camry 2.4 VVT-I with a 5 speed Auto. I like it so far. Oddly large gas tank.

If you went to Gingers BDay party you would of witnessed this first hand. Yes, that idea works well.
If you did show up for his party I apologize, I don't remember or I was already in the wifes mini van.
