any interest in a group camping trip?

When Jp and I were there in the fall there were maybe 6 vehicles total that I saw with 5 being those in our group. The camping spot at the end of the road was between two hills. Only downside of that spot was the wind. It was a constant 30 mph the whole time.

Also be prepared to get some nasty stares from hikers. Some will ask you what you are doing. I told them the deal and would point to my 4 yr old daughter in the back. That would usually change their attitude quickly.

I think most people were amazed to see a stock 80 out there. It is an easy trail. Just expect some pinstriping.

Not worried about the hippies as long as the law is on my side. I don't speak hippie but i do speak ruger and browning.:hillbilly:

Some hippies are bi-lingual. And if you pull first the law is not on your side.
Just sayin'.

I would like to do this ride if someone would post a summary please.

Never mind, I saw the new thread. I'm scheduled to work that Sat so probably won't make it unless I can take a vacation day, I'll check availability tomorrow.

Dohcdelsol is working till lunch time then heading to my place in pickens. Hoping to be on the rd by 1pm or so but not sure. I am gonna try to get everything up the day before so we can just go.

looking forward to the trip now that i've got my inverted shackle issue taken care of. The FS road will be fun now that every dip/rutt i hit doesn't feel like i'm hitting a brick wall
