Any electrical gurus can help with wire diagrams?

Trying to do more retrofits and need help identifying what the wires are in this diagram (which is + ...ground.etc)

Pink is...
Purple is ....
Gray is...
green is....


Its a toyota rheostat and want it to control some leds

Pink looks to be ground.
Violet is Switched
Violet to Green is across the rheostat
No sure what grey is doing, but it also says switched.
You'll need to play with it a bit to see what is connected when.

I'm a bit concerned that the 'dimmer circuit' is hosted in the CPU. This may not do what you think it does to get to illumination - (toyota runs it's brightness on illumination -)

LEDs don't dim well with resistive rheostats, FYI. They dim slightly, then shut off.
