Yesterday evening, this 74 (or maybe 75, 76) rolled into my Kennewick Washington cul-de-sac, latched down to a trailer. Poor soul is headed for auction.

Talking with the owners grandson, it was owned by one of our local farmers who bought it in approximately 2016….from what I could see, newish paint, OME 2.5 lift, 33” tires, interior very clean….sports an original 2F and 4 speed. Under the drivers seat, original jack and tool bag.

Pretty sure it is headed for the Classic Car Auction in Pasco WA, August 19…. I’m hoping she gets a good new home.

The background FJ40 is my 68.

It's a 78. Vent windows in the hard top, spare tire carrier and round bezel make it a 77 or 78. The windshield washer nozzle in the top of the frame make a 78. If the three points seat belts are attached to the roll bar it's a 2/78-12/78. Seat belt could be moved but 1/76-2/78 there would be a spot welded bracket on the hard top sides for the retractable part of the front seat belts.

Impressive knowledge!
