I have a writeup on the pan install in the tech section that may help. Only lacking pics of the snap-ups.

So does the FAQ

I have had trouble in the front of the oil pan achieving a good seal. The first one I did the gasket fell behind the lip in the engine and I didn't notice until I was driving it. The second one went where it was supposed to but even with gasket goo, it is still leaking more than I would like.

Is the FelPro a cork gasket? The OEM is cork and very supple.

Yeah, I said "supple":flipoff2:

ahh one more thing.. this engine probably won't be running for a while still... should i wait to put the oil in or does it not matter.. i would rather get it in now to see if there are any leaks...

It won't leak unless it's running or has a hole in the pan but like Coolerman said if you can put it in now and your not going to forget later. I would go further and spin the oil pump to get some pressure around the bearings if you can.
