So Land Cruiser Heaven is just like Ridies, i.e. great product but abysmal customer service service? This is killing me. Mosely and custom (local shop) are starting to look like the only options

I felt the same way and it’s why I went with Mosley. I would make the same decision today. All the local shops wanted 2-3x.

JUST SPOKE WITH LCH TODAY

My LX is in there for service. They’ve been fantastic.
Call when they say they will, my truck will be done ahead of time, and the staff is very nice.

I’m in automotive for 26 years and own a tuning company.
I know what it’s like when someone blows it out of proportion or doesn’t leave a message than whines on the forums…

My LCH leather shipped within about 3 weeks of placing the order. Ordered on 6/24 of 2020 and they shipped on 7/14. Granted, this was 2020 but I had nothing but a good experience. They've held up great too.

Good to hear @CBB - I'll keep them on the list with an asterisk by the name.

Also, do you sometimes wish your 2001 Land Cruiser was a 2002? ;-)

@Manhattan

Ah, took me a minute between BMW 2002 or 2002 100 series. Had to think of model year differences, came up blank!

No need to wish, have both in the fleet. 100 series since 2010 and the BMW since 2015 or so.

LeatherSeats.com covers in my GX are still doing good after a year of hard use. The rig has basically been used as a work truck (getting in it dirty often) and taken om a big overlanding trip to CO.

What did you end up doing @Manhattan ? I’m local in ATL as well and it’s def time to replace front seats and center console lid (2004 black ext over grey interior)

As of 3 days ago, I'm back on this. I'm going with a local upholstery shop - they did my '84 Pickup and did a great job - to do the front two rows, arm rests, etc. custom (not a kit). I'm scheduling it today, hoping to get on their schedule in the next two weeks.

I'm also going to have them install a new carpet "kit", e.g. ACC/Stock Interiors, while it's there. I've done these carpet kits before; they're not too difficult, but it seems silly not to have them knock it out while the seats are out. Plus, it'll pretty awesome dropping this off (below pic) and picking up the 100 with a complete new interior.

Update: Carpet's on the way, I'm on the upholsterer's schedule. I'm kinda stoked. Oh, and I cleaned those nasty seatbelts yesterday.

I used hotrod (wolfham) upholstery leather for my grey front seat bottoms in my 2006. Highly recommend. As far as I know they're airbag compliant. Owner said they were when I discussed it with him.
This guy! Nicest dude ever. Fit was perfect!

I like(d) the idea of a kit. I talked with the upholstery shop owner about them, and they do install them - no hate for the kits. But for the extra few hundred bucks (front and middle rows, arm rests, center console) and knowing it'll be perfect, it was worth it to me to go the custom route.

I'll be interested to know how this goes for you and who the shop is. Are they over on your side of town? You're on the NE side of the city, correct?

I'm having Tony's Upholstery do the seats. It's a family business in Norcross. Tony did the seats in my '84 Pickup and crushed it.
