Another head lights not working question

Hi all,

hoping for a little assistance here, two problems I have not sure they are related.

1. Horn does not work
2. head lights do not work either high or low
3. All other lights work with the exception of the hazards.

These are what I have checked:

1. no blown fuses
2. headlight relay clicks when lights turned on
3. no 12v at headlight fuses in box.

I did check the fusable links at the battery and the single green one works fine but the larger one with three wires only two of the prongs have 12v from connector to ground with DMM meter. Any other ideas or things that I am missing? Does this large fusable link power the headlights and horn? With headlight switch turned on I have no 12v at any of the headlight sockets either.

start with replacing the relay if that don't work start tracing wires...

I traced non working hi-beams to the actual switch in the steering column. The metal tabs within the switch that actually make contact were so corroded the high beams didn't work. Sandpaper fixed it.

From looking at the schematic, for both an FJ60 or an FJ62. the horn and the headlights come off of the same fusible link, the one that is the red wire after the fusible link. So, give that a look.

just wondering if you ever found out what the problem was. I am having the exact same issue with my headlight.
