I want to start by saying "THANK YOU!" to all of the folks that showed up on Saturday to help with the cleanup. It was a great success! We collected a few hundred pounds of trash from along the creek and surrounding roads. Overall it was alot less trash than any of us expected which was a pleasant surprise.

The member turnout was great and we had a fair amount of participation from non-members as well.

Attending members were:

Myself (BMAN)
Sean Pitts
Sterling Pitts
LandcruiserPhil (with Wife and Daughter)
Tools-R-Us (Kevin)
Rob "Turtle" Patterson
DesertDude and
Kristina "desertgirl66"
Clay "Rhino" Davis with Wife, Son and Daughter who's names all escape me
Dustin "Rush55" Fitch
"Just-John" Keefe
Jeremy "Relix" Keefe
"Inkpot" John

Non-members who came out and gave a hand anyway because they're damned good people too:

John "Offroader5" North
Chris "Bluecruiser"
Justin (not Jake) (Chris's Wingman)
John "Living in the past"
Andy "Hilltopper" and wife

If I forgot anyone please let me know and I'll be sure to get ya on the list for a little credit where it's due.

Again, a great success with a late show by the FS rep Cat Sampson who was greatful that we came out anyway, even though we had no response from the FS on this one. Cat seems like she'll be a great contact for us in the Red Rock Ranger district.

Anyone else that wants to share their experience or story from the cleanup feel free to post it here. PICS TOO!

My "wingman" was actually named Justin, but Jake is a cooler name.
Anyway, we had a great time once we found the destination. Hope to do something again soon. I will be practicing my "custom" crackercake dough making skills for next time HAHA

Great raffle too!!!!

Too much fun!

Truly a great success!! It was great meeting y'all and being part of the clean up. The place looked darned snappy when we left! Great fun telling stories around the campfire. Next time we'll have to do some sing alongs

Working hard on a tofu crackercake recipe :o

Had a fine time hanging with the "Usual Suspects" and it was great to meet Relix , bluecruiser and Justin. We had many laughs around the campfire that night.
Fossil creek was full of water and great for swimming that day :D

Check out the photos

Nice photos John. Why doesn't it suprise me that Clay used a screaming blue flamer for his avatar :flipoff2:

You are an ass! Thanks!:flipoff2: Melissa's sittin here laughing her ass off at me right now. Otherwise the pics look killer Bro.

You're not a half bad photojournalist there John. I like the acid trip flashback shots too.

The Enquirer or Ripleys will pay big bucks for the Sasquatch photo.

Great pictures John
