I have read and read and can't seem to find anything on my issue...

75 fj40, left turn signals (driver's side) work fine. Right side wil come on and stay on, but only the front. When I turn on hazards, both the front work and only the driver's side (left) rear flash.

Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance, Matt

I went to an Electronic Flasher and it solved my issues with the flasher just staying on. 30 year old wiring just did not work right with the Resistance style old Flashers.. mine blinks fine now! im sure i have some gremlins in there somewhere, but im not going to tear it all out and try and put in a Painfull Harness ;)

electronic flashers will blink at the same rate regardless of the draw on the circuit

So what do you mean? The right rear doesn't light at all or it lights up consistently but doesn't flash? If the right rear is burned out, that would explain your problem. If it lights up but doesn't flash when the front does, then maybe it is mis-wired.

Check the grounds - especially the ground at the fender to turn signal housing. I had all kinds of weird stuff going on and in the end it was all in the passenger-side front fender/housing ground.

If you are saying with the Haz all signals are flashing except the right rear one , then like Pinhead says , either right rear bulb is burnt or not connected. Look at its socket first and verify with your test light that you have power to the contact lead.If no power there trace the circit back till you find it.
Because all the bulbs share the same ground per tail- assembly, I can't see this being a ground issue.
Try another bulb in the right rear just to be sure.

Thanks for the replies, I will check the bulb again along with the spoken fender ground...much appreciated!
