Is Marley all set fo the trip? Who is driving? I presume you have a truck and the wife drives something, so is the doughter driving the LC to Texas? Or, are you driving down and flying back for the Big Blue?

If you're flying back for the pick up, when?

Actually I'm going down with the truck and Marley on trailer loaded with some items. I'll leave Marley at my Grandmothers place until I find a place to call home.

I will be going down initially alone and then flying back to drive the rest of the stuff back with the wife and daughter. We might leave the FZJ80 for a later return/pick up date to be determined (Xmas or January rendezvous) but will shall see...

Finally got my parking drum wires and got everything put on.. The 4.11s are nice in 1st and 2nd gear but I don't notice much difference in 3rd or 4th gears.. For trail running they are gonna be awesome though. Lockright locker is nice.. not to bad around corners and the clicking is minimal IMO. I will spend a little more time on a few things and then I'll be PACKING SOME MORE!

That trailer is in really nice shape....

Yeah Trap it was used to move a kid from the Springs to Ft Collins for college. Made a few trips back and forth and that's it. Found out also, that the entire trailer is powder coated not cheapo paint.

How's the rocker panel.. any update on the repair yet? Seriously, I wish I had time to take care of that for you. I'd come down in a heartbeat and help you out on that.

Been to busy with graphic design to really devote any attention to it. Haven't even sent the picture depicting what metal I need to Jason at Cruiseryard yet. It isn't effecting Chunk's drivability so...:meh:

Yeah a rocker patch would work the best for the shorter area. Mine were complete rust so I just made my own to span pretty much the whole length on both sides. Jason will take good care of you. Doesn't look like I'll be coming down due to the move but, I'm hoping to come back up for CM2013 if everything works out.

Hope the move goes well bro! Sorry I didn't make it out! Hectic times! Be safe!

Thanks O, If I get back to the NW area I'll give you a shout.

Finny, I wish we could have met up. I understand hectic all too well. Take care of the little ones and stay safe at work. We'll meet up somewhere one day.

Yeah bummed we never got to meet up! Drive safe on the journey to the new destination with Blue Marley in tow. One thing I learned while the wife and I spent two days driving BeBe back was that this country was definitely meant to be viewed below 70mph. There was some absolutely beautiful landscape while we were headed (especially between Salt Lake and Winnemucca) and it just shows the awe as we didn't even think to grab pics, we just enjoyed!!!!

I have three days to get there but, want to make it in two. Spend a full day with my grandmother doing stuff around the house for her. We'll see what my energy level is. Not much to see between Wyoming and Texas... Pretty flat and brown.. Denver to Salina has got to be the worst 400 mile stretch in the country to drive...

But, it'll all be worth it. It may be hot and humid in Texas still but, the color change and Fall is beautiful where I'm going. I couldn't ask for a better time of year to acclimate myself again to the weather down there.

Been doing honey dews and necessary things this week. Got the lock strip on the back glass FINALLY. Also, scored some SL rated Mobil 1 Full Synthetic at the local parts store.. 18.98 for a 5 qt jug, not too bad a price for the old stuff. I got four jugs, the new stuff (SM, SN rating was taking its place on the shelf behind the SL) It was 8 bucks cheaper than MalWart and no they had already switched inventory to the newer stuff.

Getting closer to being done. I'll say it again..I HATE MOVING!!!
