Fellas, I wish that all of your wife's, SO's, etc.. were like mine. She was excited to see me, the dog, and even Marley when she got home.

Snow, the tweeters were the easiest to install. Hope to get to the tailgate lid today. Work sucks but, I suppose it's better than not having a job....

I'm sorry to hear about the funeral, our thoughts are with you and your family.

It's a great feeling to get the truck out on the road after so much work. Good job man

Got a few items for Blue this week.. Set of 62 mirrors, Sony stereo, dug out a previously purchased new in box RF Punch 45 mosfet amp to put it with the new stuff, YOU OLDER GUYS KNOW WHAT THIS IS!! I plan on running a shallow mount 10" in the cargo area before this build is done.

what do you mean by "you older guys"

BTW that 60 looks great!

Thanks Johnny, got my tailgate lid installed today.Love getting to run around in the cruiser... Greg will chime in soon telling me, " I TOLD YOU SO!! "

Well 40ish I guess isn't that old.... The first RF amps were way more powerful than what they were rated at... What we use to call TRUE AMPS.. not potential amps...

Here we go, bare with me as I took the install to that next level.. A few posts on the install...

First, started out by cutting the tailgate panel out, followed by a good cleaning with wax and grease remover..

Then sprayed the cut edge with cold gal spray to help prevent any future rust issues.

Next, installed the FatMat sound deadener.

Johnny, I like them. Good quality, turn smooth, and lock cylinders work nicely. Locks are keyed alike as well. Another durable and utilitarian product by Kevin and WagonGear. I am pleased with entire setup.

WagonGear gets the first sticker placement on Marley's windows.

LOL. I won't say it J!!

She is looking great and love the new WG lid. That will be on the short list of things once I get my truck finally. Bout how long did it take for you to do the install? Doesn't look to incredibly complicated.

Greg, with the cold gal, sound mat and carpet... less than 2 hrs. or less project. Was a very self satisfying project/morning.

I'm actually looking to replace the Dodge.... FJ Cruiser or Tacoma for just my daily to work/inspection vehicle. I don't use it to pull anything anymore like I did when I first got it.

Got a craving for a third member swap this weekend. So, looking for a pair of FJ62 thirds if anyone has some laying around... Contacted my normal used parts suppliers.. waiting on responses..

Like the stickers Pete. Today I got a few looks and a couple questions about them and Marley.

My vote is for the FJ.. My gal LOVE"S hers.. :steer:

I vote x2 fj

Yeah I almost pulled the trigger a few weeks ago on the new RED TRAILS TEAM Edition.... Just too much RED!! Maybe closer to winter when I really start to hate the dually on snow and ice it'll make me get something new.

Good observation Finny.. I do see a lot of women and OLD MEN driving these around these parts.. HMMMM...

BTW Finny, good work with Crux on the lift..

Good thing I'm still LOOKING huh! However, either will serve my needs much better than the Dodge.
