i hadnt heard about the 3m vinyl wrap. what trim did you apply it to?
The center area of the trim that runs alongside the side panels of my Cruiser was fading. See the difference in the attached pic (front two panels have the wrap, rear two do not yet).
If you buy a sheet of 1'x5' 3M car vinyl wrap on Amazon for $10 you can apply with a squeegee and a razor blade and it looks 100x better than the faded trim. Alternatives would be painting the trim ($600+, and it is difficult to get back on without getting new adhesives) or replacing all of the trim pieces ($1,000+).

It's honestly pretty easy. Get a nice exacto knife type razor blade. Cut the 3M into strips with scissors that are the general size and shape of your trim but a bit too large in all directions. Lay it down as flat as possible and run the side of your squeegee against the edges of the trim to get a crease to follow with your blade. Then carefully take your blade and run it along the crease / edge of the trim in very long / fluid motions. The blade will follow the edge, and you'll have a nice line. Then take the squeegee and push down any of the edge that is sticking out, and it looks pretty much perfect. How hard is it to cut them that long and straight?
This is really on my radar... Hmmm...
just ordered a slimline II. the description says it comes with a wind deflector but all the pictures appear not to have one?
had some fun in the PA hills last weekend. i'm jealous of the 100 Series Rally goiers in CO this week...maybe next year!

"They'll fit" not "They're..."
275/70/18 is the go-to size for the stockish 100s - they don't rub and fit in the spare well. They're right a 33" - a good balance of looks, performance, etc. for a DD truck without regearing and extensive mods.
have the full OME suspension and BFG tires installed and have exorcised the running boards. I am very happy with the results in looks and drive-ability. next step is sliders, a roof rack and roof tent for camping....but I am still haggling with wifey over the timing of those purchases.
@gkaan you are going to love those tires. I just put them on two weeks ago after talking to a few on here, and they look great.
In the last two weeks, I put on the 275/70/18 BFG KO2s on some Tundra TRD off road wheels (front center caps were tricky), removed the running boards, installed front mud flaps, and did the 3M vinyl car wrap fix on my fading trim. Easy changes that made a huge difference taking this from the soccer mom look to something much more respectable. Just need to crank my torsion bar to raise the front end about 1".
Check her out.

Just tracked you down from your post in the Keystone forum. Truck looks good!
I'd recommend getting some front mud flaps ASAP now that you have removed your running boards. I removed them for a few weeks on an 80 series I used to own while I was getting them powder coated, and the next time I washed it I found rock chips everywhere!
I decided to revive this 10 month dormant thread. I lost my job last October and needed to shut down the build for a few months. I'm gainfully employed once again and getting busy with the LC. I ordered the metal tech sliders and they ship end of august. I also have the Slimline II on order (again) and am hoping to post pictures once installed. I am also considering the Slimline 40" LED that mount to the their rack. They're on sale right now for $695. Meanwhile a pix of my deepest water crossing so far. Note my wife has eyes down reading a book! She has no idea why i do these things..
