Another! 02LX vs 03TLC comparison - opinions?
CLARIFICATION: the '02 is the LX, and the '03 is the TLC (title hasnt updated yet)
Alright guys, here are my options (complete seller's remorse after loosing my '99, so im getting back in the game
):
2002 LX470, 48k
- M.L. audio package
- nav
- better color (small, but is a difference)
(and obvious bonuses of AHC, side airbags, higher resale, better dealer service)
2003 TLC, 44k
- nav
- 5sp
(not sure about side airbags)
Both run about $30k (the TLC is actually $1k more), and both have same KBB value (which i know is BS, but just as a point of reference)... which would you feel is the better deal? I'm leaning towards the lexus, but I was hoping to hear from folks if there really is that much of a performance 03+ w/ the 5sp tranny + upped HP... in all honesty, i could care less about the gatetype shifter or whatever its called, but just wanted to hear ppl's perspectives!
(This obviously would occur if both are considered to be in excellent condition after inspections by a Toyota mechanic)
Thank,
Santi
