The foreigner has a question: didn't the Ba'Ja change names recently? I've only been there once before, so I might need an address or the new name.

yes, it's now a Chev'ron :hillbilly:

it's on Beeline (87) after the turn-off to the casino on the Ft. McDowell reservation, but before the Verde River bridge - on the right side

since it's been a Chevron, the prices are also lower than they used to be and compatible to what you would pay on Shea Boulevard in Fountain Hills right off Beeline

you can also get a Tonto Pass at the Chevron

from the northern part of the 202, exit at Country Club and follow the signs to Fountain Hills/Payson - takes about 15-20 minutes from that exit to the Chevron
alternatively, go Shea Boulevard all the way east through Fountain Hills and turn north on Beeline

Brittan

2 o'clock at the Baja gas station work for everyone on Friday?, Brittan, im sure we can go a little later than that if you can give us an idea when you'll be able to make it there by. The more the merrier.

I'm in on the Friday afternoon caravan....

I am pretty sure I should be down for the afternoon on Friday as well

Bman - if you bring the Carne Asada I'll bring a couple gallons of Pasole, Tequila & Tortillas.....

Not sure I can be to BAJA by 2pm. I will probably leave work at that time. I will see what I can do. If markings are left, I can find my way.......I think.

I don't know that I can make it at 2PM but maybe 3-3:30.

Anyone besides Rob have 2M radio? I'm suggesting we keep in contact via the repeaters and a frequency of our choosing. That way if we get split up we can find each other...Same camping spot next to he opening of th run? Anyone have a way point?

I'll be heading up Friday as well but won't make it at 2pm; should be leaving the Phoenix area by around 5. I can hardly wait until next weekend...

It will be good to see you and the wife Richard! De Ja Vu last years events???:grinpimp:

I'm also day trippin. Thinking the gas station formally known as Baja ~7:30 and/or the Maverick in Payson at ~9:00.

I do, KE7QFA.

We'll be day tripping, probably arriving mid/late morning and leaving in the late afternoon.

Noted.

This also reminds me to let everyone know... the club grill will be available for anyone who may need it to cook on. I will not be cooking for the entire group this time around but I am bringing the grill. If you have meat that needs to go on the grill, please bring it over and we will find a spot for it. You will however be in control of your own meat's destiny.

Not up on the whole repeaters deal but I will have the radio tuned to whichever frequency you decide on.

Bman, will you be there on Friday night with the grill? Thinking about my meat's destiny.....

Yes sir! And... DAMN I haven't seen you in a long time dude. I think the first trip in your hundy at Payette was the last time actually. You bringing the family?

Speeking of Family... Who all is bringing their better halves and children? Melissa gets frustrated when she's the only wife in camp. As much as she loves me, birfield doesn't quite translate into COACH for her.

Im in for me, my two little ones, and possibly a neighbor with three little ones...sorry, no females Mellissa's age this time:D

Just Brody and I.
