Norcal, not on fire but it was darn close.
Hi the main gas line on the bottom of my fuel tank will not flow.
Does any one have a diagram of the inside?

I can jam almost 15 inches of guitar string down it yet if you put 200 PSI of air down it nothing flows.

No filters or check valves that could keep it from flowing?

cleaning a oem tank is dirty, time consuming, expensive and taking a big risk because the thing will still have dirt in it when your done (ask me how i know). poly tank 200 delivered. on ebay. done..

Hi thanks, Getting it boiled and repaired, $100+ 3 small holes I was going to copper weld.

Wont the poly leak and smell?
A used one for $199?

Fuel Tank Gas Tank 1973-1978 [77100-60042] - $349.00 : CruiserParts.net, Toyota Landcruiser Parts

I ran this tank Gas Tank- FJ40- 9/72-12/78- FREE SENDING UNIT- CCOT Replica for years in two 40s without issues. Everything hooked up just fine and no leaks. Changed to conferr aux tank and a modified S10 tank when I went to V8s. If I were to do it again, I would do the S10 tank over the hassle of cleaning/repairing the conferr.

The pickup is behind the drivers side baffle from the sender hole.

Likely can see the end of it with a mirror? It's just a tube, no screen, etc, but does have some sharp bends.

If you cant get it cleared out, isn't this tank still available from Toyota?

Guys, when I looked down the fuel hole I can see pitting and on the bottom some microscopic holes. My mechanic wanted to put copper sheeting over the bottom but with 40 tiny rust spots on the inside, repairing is just not doing it right? CCOT $289 delivered new tank, metal.....

If it has significant rust issues, I would replace it. Check with cruiserdan for Toyota pricing, may close to aftermarket?
