J4 Fuel Tank installation (later models) (1 Viewer)

Good morning,

I have a '89 Band with the 52Liter tank under the passenger seat. I'm looking for some options to increase the fuel capacity and I know, there is a fue tank option for the later models. It supposed to be installed under the cabin somewhere. I guess, near/behind the transfer case.

I'm not able (or too stupid) to find pictures of those installed in a stock vehicle to get a idea, if I could retrofit them or not. There is a million videos and pictures of the old version, but none of the new one.

I know, that the Band might differ from the J42 sold in the US, but do you guys have homepage or something where I can clearly see, where this fuel tank is installed?

No reason you can't use the rear aux tanks ? there is a long range tank that goes under both seats. The only other tank is the late model under floor but if you have an under seat tank the under floor wont fit without modifying floor.
