Am I crazy, or is the price of this 60 outta'o whack?

Looks like there are interested buyers which would mean it's no overpriced. Remember something's worth whatever someone will pay. I wouldn't pay that much but that's just me.

there's work been done, but it looks like crap inside. i wouldn't pay $6 for it. too many other examples in better condition for less money.

notice the high bidder has never bought anything before. has this high bidder been waiting for the perfect cruiser to spend 8000 dollars on, is this it, i don think so. its a jack up bid. i just recently purhased one identical if not nicer for 3300 and this hits 8000 in the first day. ive gotten in the habit of watching crusiers on ebay, the ones that sell for higher amounts always seem to end up relisted due to non paying bidder....hmm strange.
not necesarily knocking him, everyone wants to get as much as possible for what their selling

also note the infomercial type question asked by the bidder, "ive been looking for a solid cruiser for a long time...this one seems to fit the bill but whate else should i be worried about"

You think that interior looks terrible? Other than the rip on the drivers seat (that tons of people have) it looks pretty clean to me. Sounds like hes taken good care of it, but just because someone takes care of a truck well doesnt mean its worth a mint. Im sure you could do better.

I think its a pretty clean looking rig, but there's no way Id pay 11K for it UNLESS, it had some major mods to it (ex. engine convesrsion, SOA etc.) Most of the repairs done were (for the most part) maintainence type stuff.
I think about that ALOT with my rig. If I dump A LOT of money on an engine conversion (not to mention a diesel conversion...) Ill never see anything CLOSE to that in re sale...I guess Ill just have to keep it and be buried in it.:D
I frickin' LOVE that geezer beige color though. That's flippin SWEET!;)

it has been gone over and nothing needs any work.

rrriiiiight.

IMO I think Christie already knows "Hank" and they are it to jack up the price.

Check out the bid history. First bid was $2200......."Christie" comes in later at $7000 and within a minute ups her bid to $8000.

If that is selling for $8k, I am selling mine tomorrow

Shill bids for sure.

It's a $5000 rig. Interior is torn up as usual, carpet missing in rear, rust starting to show up on body, 181,000 miles. It's solid but 11K - no way. He's trying to sell it for the amount that he had to sink into it in normal maintenance.

With that logic, I guess mine is worth about 10K by now. :)

Yeah, but he has over $17K invested in it. These people who call fixing broken things an "investment" crack me up. If that's an investment, I've got a few bridges for sale.....
