Does any company make a Altimeter gauge that is powered by GPS so you don't have to reset the calibrate the barometric pressure all the time?

Any standalone GPS unit like those from Garmin should work nicely for you.

I am currently using the Garmin Overlander (Garmin Overlander), probably overkill, but just an example of what's out there.

Here's a shot of a screen I often use which shows location, Elevation, etc.:

No calibration ever.

Same here ... I use a Garmin Montana so I can put it in my pocket as well as use it in the vehicle.

There are quite a few smart phone apps that utilize GPS Without dependency on cellular networks… Many of them very accurately display GPS Bsed altitude. Gaia has altitude and much more....Many others that are also free.

Also... GPS enabled ham radios often do as well, including my mounted Yaesu and Yaesu handheld.

All great suggestions.

Curiously, the GX470 has a factory altimeter that can be displayed. Always wonder why that model got one and the LC/LX didnt.

And what happened to the alarm clock? My FJ62 had one from the factory.
