Ok I got the kit from another memeber to allow me to install the 150amp sequoia alternaotr, well I got the toyota alternator(remanned) and the kit, what issues am I opening myself up to after this is installed if any. Im yanking the IBS dual battery setup and replacing with the national luna setup and I run two odyssey extremes 1500s and a bussman fuse block

Do you have to update the fusible link? I met someone that did the same mod and talking about upgrading the fusible link to something to handle the higher amps

Nothing. Drive fast and take chances.

What’s wrong with the IBS system? I ran it for years with no issues.
I installed the RBM and it died/failed on my 27 day trip wreaking havoc on my electronics, culd fix it, but went with National luna thanks Beno

You can run a larger wire and fuse/link. I ran a 2 AWG wire and 175 amp ANL fuse when I installed the 150 A alternator with Bill's bracket and small pulley.

I ran the stock wiring initially and it worked fine, but I don't have dual batteries...

Im not sure I just installed a new link Ill have to run it by witsend
