Hard to beat the current price on these…looks great
Yep. I waited to buy new wheels for four years, this deal was too good to pass up.Hard to beat the current price on these…looks great
I am running Alpha Equipt and am very happy with them. I am running the Apex deflators in the second hole with factory TPMS in the protected slot. I also have these same wheels for my Patriot trailer, just haven't gotten around to installing yet.Yep. I waited to buy new wheels for four years, this deal was too good to pass up.
I've posted this elsewhere, but do yourself a favor and buy a set of the Apex Design Rapid deflators to go in the second valve hole position. Really great mod!
Love the look. What size tires do you have your LX? Did you have tire rack send you the wheel and tire separately so that you could install your TPMS from the stock wheels? That's exactly what they told me when I called them to verify the fitment.
According to them, they hand fitted each wheels to a specific vehicle to validate the fit and 17" will not fit whatsoever.
Well, here's my LX w/ 17" Alphaequipt wheels in action... they must be smoking something nice up thereYMMV.

They're 285/70/17 KO2.Love the look. What size tires do you have your LX? Did you have tire rack send you the wheel and tire separately so that you could install your TPMS from the stock wheels?
What load range did you go with and did you have to do any mods to the fender? They're 285/70/17 KO2.
No, I run 2 sets of wheels... OEM for everyday driving and offroad wheel setup for offroad usage.
Tirerack sent me wheels w/ tires already mounted but no TPMS.
As far as I know, you can't run 2 sets of TPMS without reprogramming so I opted out.
I think I got C.What load range did you go with and did you have to do any mods to the fender?
Is this set also work on AE wheels w/ that proper 9~11+ rotations?Little public service announcement on these AE wheels and lug fitment.
I thought I'd get better lugs (McGuard 65315BK) with the spinning washer. These are specified for the popular rock warrior rims. While these lugs go on the AE rims (I have Echo), they only catch 4+ rotations on the front studs, and 7+ on the back studs. Recommended is 9 rotations for 14mm. I went looking for longer studs, but didn't find an available, cost effective solution (Kyo-Ei SBLC, $9 each+ shipping), from Japan.
So, the extended conical lugs which you likely received included from Tire Rack are the ticket.
If you want to go to black (I did), this Amazon EL lug in black fits: Amazon product ASIN B00QLIOFFG
The referenced black ones catch something like 9+ and 11+ rotations.
No, you need the lugs that have additional, narrow extension before the cone. You want that 7.62mm (5 turns) of additional engagementIs this set also work on AE wheels w/ that proper 9~11+ rotations?
I wanted something longer so it won't damage the wheel paint while removing that shallow lugs.

Dang~No, you need the lugs that have additional, narrow extension before the cone.
Sure updated post with more detailsDang~thank you so much...
Returning them and ordering a set recommended by you!![]()
I also tried the same McGuard lugs, as I had them for the first set of wheels that I tried to use. But, definitely was not enough thread engagement. I did ET Gorilla lugs.Little public service announcement on these AE wheels and lug fitment.

One full summer on mine. Slightly more offset (at +35) than I’d like but overall very happy with them. No regrets. How's everyone feeling about these wheels? I'm shopping the 17" Command for my 18 LC. Any positive or negative feedback? TIA
Super happy with them. They fit perfectly and haven't had any issues with mine. Granted all four of mine have rock damage, etc. LOL If I were to pick one thing that I would like to see them change, it would be the location of the second valve stem opening. The protected one for use with TPMS is perfect. However, the second one on the Command could stand to either be moved a little more central or at a more perpendicular angle to wheel barrel. As it is now, it is at an angle and located too close to the front face of the wheel. This results in the valve core having more exposure to rock/root damage than I would like. My buddy has a set of their Foxtrot on his Tacoma and the valve locations are much better on that design. Regardless, I am still very happy with them. How's everyone feeling about these wheels?
