I just purchased a 2009 LC for my wife last weekend.
What are your thoughts on the best all around tire with great snow traction, longevity, wet traction?

I live at 9000 ft in CO and see lots of snow and ice. I have a set of Goodyear Silent Armors that I had siped. They are awesome! (If you can find the size you want.) They may not look as "cool" as BFG ATs, but I feel they are a better all weather tire than the BFGs, and they provide better off road traction than I would expect for a "non-aggressive" tread.

i am not impressed with bfg's snow traction. I am going to look into some goodyear duratracs.

How do these tires compare to the OEM tires? I'm thinking about keeping the originals

i live and drive in the pacific northwest with lots of rain, snow and ice. i haven't tried my Toyo Open Country A/Ts on any ice yet, but they are great on everything else (not so good in mud, but what non-mud tires is). they are LTs and slightly oversized, so mileage, acceleration and ride suffered. noise is only slightly worse than stock. my 4runner had silent armor, and i feel that was a better tire for someone who would rarely be going off road.

Can't go wrong with Bridgstone Dueler REVO's... especially for the wife.. quiet, great wet and snow traction, look good as well...

Funny...I had both Revos and BFG ATs on a 4runner years ago...I had to get rid of the Revos earlier then anticipated, they plain sucked in the rain and snow.
