All from my 3/1991 HDJ81 with 330,000km
1HDT 4.2 litre turbo diesel. Runs perfectly, New BEB about 100,000km ago, All hydraulic transmission, Locking t-case. Asking $5750 Canadian which, today, is only $5060US
This would be a simple install to nearly anything since it needs no computer and really only needs one wire to run. I will, however include the engine wiring harness, dash, shifter, cruise control module, factory series parallel switch (starts with 24V but truck runs on 12v)... even the steering column if you want it. Heck I think I could even half cut it for you if you really wanted it that way but you'd have to help me figure out the shipping.
It is all still in the truck and can be heard running and driven in Calgary. It seems odd to kill yet another Land Cruiser but this one needs a whole lot of small items ( exhaust, paint, heater) and a few big items (brakes, birfs, etc) I drove it to work for the last time yesterday at -20C and got stuck in traffic with an open exhaust and the rig nearly asphyxiated me. It has to go.
I'm keeping the tires, winch, lockers etc for a future project and I'll sell off the trinkets once the drivetrain sells but if you really wanted the whole truck with nearly new 35" Duratracs, lockers, winch etc, we could work something out I'm sure.

Sold! Thanks for the interest everyone.

I would love to get the block from you...but not sure the cost to have that shipped down. Feel free to PM details and maybe we can work something out. Thank you.

That is an absolutely smoking deal on a running 1HD-T. Not to mention the transmission, T-case and stuff.

If I could scrounge any extra cash right now, I'd figure out how to snag that from you.

Good luck with the sale! That should go really, really quickly.

Dan

Thanks for the verification, Dan.

It turns out my resolve to park the thing was short lived. I patched up the exhaust yesterday and drove it to work today. It really is my vehicle of choice when the roads are icy. If the engine doesn't sell I may bring up a nice FZJ80 and convert it for my own use.

I'm interested if this is still available. I sent a PM/Conversation

Thanks
Scott

Update. There are 8 parties who have expressed interest. I've given the first guy a few days to look into shipping and am hoping to hear back from him soon. Otherwise I'll be moving down the list. one by one.

Thanks for all the interest, everyone.

Interested in your engine/tranny.
Cannot figure out how to contact you via PM. Can you contact me as I do not want to post my # here.
Am located in North Vancouver.
Thanks,
Mike

That the rig you purchased on the island many moons ago?

Bruce, you will like the IFS Sequoia, little bigger than the SC hundy I had for a few years...thirsty suckers tho...

No Rob this one has been the family wagon for the last five years until we bought the Tundra last summer. They are giving away gas these days so I'm not worried about fuel. I am worried about wheeling a rig that is so big. I think it might end up with some full width AAM axles on King coils.

Yep that would of be cool for sure.....if I still had the TRD SC 100, it might have gotten a set of diamond nines like Slee built a few years ago..

Good luck with the sale..
