I have recently puchased a Clifford Intelliguard 950 G5 alarm for my 1997 80 Series land Cruiser Stationa Wagon. The supplier did not supply any installation instructions. Can any one help?

Most "instructions" that come with alarms are just a wiring diagram, or that is molded or on a sticker on the backside of alarm. They just assume the person installing it is a certified professional.

Did they at least provide the basic diagram?

That's what the title says. :flipoff2:
Both, actually. The 60 and the 80.
Trying to convince the wife to ditch the flares and put woodgrain down the sides.

No diagram, nothing. The vendor says, "I am sorry there are no instructions this is a safe guard from Clifford to stop crooks knowing how they are wired we would reccomend contacting an
qualified electrical fitter". Geat when I ordered it I asked repetedly for the installation instructions and they never said yes or no, and they certainly didn't say they weren't available.

If this is true I would take it someplace and have it installed professionally.

Deffinately, but they will need some guidance. I'm in the Philippines and there may not be a certified Clifford installer. There must be soem kind of instructions somewhere out there.

By the way, it's a 1997 36,000 miles emerald green, tan leather, F&R locks, 3rd row seat US version so you know the rest. It has spent its life on a tiny island in the pacific and (hopefully) is on its way to join the big, bad world.

What is the model # ? there is a slim chance I can come up with something. no guarantees.

It's an 1997 80 Series VIN JT3HJ85J8V0157187 4.5 l. 6, A/T, full time 4WD standard US version.

Looks like TX_TLC's above, but in focus.

Sorry, as far as I know it's a Clifford Intelliguard 950 G5 model 909750. I hope this helps.

Thanks

I'm sorry .. delete this shameless pad if you wish , but damn that is funny !!

Dan .. wasn't there an unfocused edition of the '97 80 ?? Came with special glasses , so buyers could actually put key to lock ....

I can't thank you enough. I have all three Toyota LC manuals so with this it should be child's play.

I knew there was a reason to join this group.

Thank you again.

sure, no problem. No magic..... I just used google.

Station wagon? WTF?

There's a guy named Benjie in Banawe who is reputed to be the exclusive distributor of Cliffords in the Philippines. His shop is next to Kingspeed.

Kalawang

Thanks I found it on the map and I'll see if I can track down a number.

This looks highly doubtful. Banaue is a tiny town in the middle of the rice terraces and rolls up the streets at 9pm at the latest. I'll now know never to trust an IH8MUD Forumer!

Thanks I tried the same with no luck. You must have the majic touch.
