2f motor, power steering, newly rebuilt transfer case and locking hubs. Ran and drove great before I dismantled for a restoration. I have service records for work. I've decided to focus on another project and sell the FJ43 as is $12,000. I have most the parts to finish. PM for more information and pictures please

Looks non-usa. Where is this from originally? Looks like a good project for someone
 
Very cool .. that will get you better response than if it was a South American hack job. That bib looks like a 1979+ for the square bezel?
 
This also comes with Bows and a soft top.
Pictured is soft top on different 43. Soft top is almost new, no fading.

@theferg . Correct. I guess I should have said more that I was wondering the origin as there is a huge difference in the condition and quality based on the original market they came from. As a question, I thought there were some FJ43s imported the North American market, though not to the US? Did Canada or Mexico get the 43 at any point?

Nope. Not North America. Mexico didn't get much of any Land Cruiser at all, i think maybe literally not any at all of the 40 series (aside from perhaps private imports). Canada got basically the same as the US for 40 series: limited amounts of 40s and 45s. But Canada did get the diesels where USA did not.

Even more a shame that the 43s coming out of south and central America are coming in such sorry shape these days. Another plus for the seller that this one came from the middle east.
