As hard as these beds are to find I would of thought it would of been gone by now, very repairable in my opinion.

Thanks. I have several nice 45 parts at fair prices, but it appears I'm on the wrong coast. I could have sold all of them 3 times now if I were in the west or in California.

Since your on the subject of roof clamps I have a question. Were these use in later years like your 78 or does it have a piece similar to that on the hard FJ40s? I plan on using a 78+ windshield to go with a 78 cowl on my truck. Trying decide of either snaking in four floating plate like the early FJ45LP-B or weld the lip off a late model FJ40 top. The lip would require a continuous weld to keep air and water out.
Late model 45's use the same method as 40's. I have a late model roof for sale!
